Susan Wells Noggy

I am still very happily married to Joe, we celebrated 27 years this July 18th. I finally finished college, after I decided what I wanted to be when I grew up (yeah, I am never growing up!). I graduated Cum Laude and belong to Sigma Theta Tau, and International Nursing Honor Society.

I am planning to travel nurse, maybe next year. I hope to hit up B'ham so my Mom can visit home again. Working on my ER Nursing Certification, Critical Care Certification, and Hazardous Material/Disaster Certification. May even go back to school to get my Nurse Practitioner's License.
I attend lots of concerts and shows with my daughter. We have a blast. She, and I, have gotten to meet and hang out with most all of her favorite bands. I love my music dark, hard, and heavy. I never really got to do much as a kid, most of you know that!

I have been involved in lobbying for feminist/civil rights issues. Worked on the Board of Directors of Domestic Violence Shelters and Habitat for Humanity. I served on our state AIDS Steering Committee. I even ran for House of Delegates back in the '90's. Glad I got that out of my system! I still enjoy politics but through my daughter and son's eyes. The are very proactive and progressive in their thinking.

Pets...I have a huge doggie named Maxx that we rescued from the pound. And, I have 4 pet rats. I can hear you all saying "OOOOOHHHHHHH!" right now. They really make much better pets than hamsters or guinea pigs and they don't bite.

Joe and I travel when we can. We are going back to Puerto Rico this Spring.
