I really miss Jimmy. He was a great friend and he had a heart of gold! He was like my big brother in high school, always looking out for me.

May 28, 1993 a wife lost her husband, two little girls lost their Daddy, I lost my best friend, but God got a good and faithful servant. Jimmy, was the big brother that I never had. He and I had no secrets, somtimes this was good & sometimes this wasn't so good!:)
Above all the things he was to me, Jimmy was the seed sower that God sent my way. I still hear his words ringing in my ear, he'd say "Listen Bubba, God has a plan for you, if you'll just let him in!" Well Jimmy, I finally did, and He sure does!
I miss you Bro, but I know we will meet again on that great reunion day!

Jimmy, aka Bubba, was a dear friend and a very caring soul. He was always waiting for me when I would come home from college for winter and summer breaks. We'd have a ton of fun while I was home and keep in touch while I was away. He even mailed me a coffee mug with a ceramic frog in the bottom, and the cup read, "To my Best Friend." I still have it! He attended many church/youth functions with me over the years, and one memory that will forever be etched in my mind was the night when Jimmy and Dominga showed up on my doorstep to tell me that Jimmy had accepted Jesus. Because of that decision, I know that I'll get to be with Jimmy for all eternity. It thrilled my heart to see that he played a part in helping Donny find and follow Jesus as well! What an awesome God! I thank Him for giving me a friend like Jimmy.
